“During my 30 year career on the Santa Cruz Superior Court, Bryan appeared in front of me on hundreds of occasions. I have had ample opportunity to observe and assess his skills, abilities and integrity. He possesses all of the characteristics necessary to become an outstanding jurist.”
-Honorable Judge (ret) John Salazar, Santa Cruz Superior Court
For the past fifteen years, I have served our community as a criminal defense attorney, both privately and court-appointed. Working across from the courthouse has allowed me to build strong professional relationships with the Santa Cruz County District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Sheriff’s Office, judges, court staff, interpreters, and behavioral health professionals throughout the county.
I believe in collaborative problem-solving and negotiated solutions that achieve real justice and serve all parties. That approach has helped my clients and will guide my work on the bench. I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and an advocate for equal rights and justice for all.
I am honored to have the respect and support of attorneys from the District Attorney’s and Public Defender’s offices, along with endorsements from current and former Santa Cruz County Superior Court judges, including retired Judges John Salazar, Timothy Volkmann, and Sam Stevens, and current Judges Mandy Tovar and Stephen Siegel.
Santa Cruz County is my home.
My wife, Kacie, and I are proud to raise our three young boys here.
I would be honored to receive your vote.
